BIO

Colin Rule
Colin Rule is Director of Online Dispute Resolution at eBay and PayPal. He is the author of Online Dispute Resolution for Business (Jossey-Bass, 2002), and he co-founded OnlineResolution.com, one of the first ODR providers, in 1999. Colin is currently co-chair of the Advisory Board of the National Center for Technology and Dispute Resolution at U. Mass-Amherst, co-chair of the Online Committee of the Dispute Resolution Section of the American Bar Association, and a Non-Resident Fellow at the Center for Internet and Society at Stanford Law School.


Ethan Katsh
Professor Katsh is the Director of the National Center for Technology and Dispute Resolution and Professor of Legal Studies at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is the author of several books on law and technology and wrote, with Janet Rifkin, the first book on online dispute resolution. He conducted the pilot project which led to eBay's ODR system and is currently working with the U.S. National Mediation Board. He has chaired the UN International Forums on Online Dispute Resolution since 2002.


Mohamed S. Abdel Wahab
Dr. Mohamed S. Abdel Wahab has an extensive knowledge on English, French, American, and Egyptian legal systems. He has been publishing numerous academic papers on International Commercial Arbitration and ADR, ODR, and E-Commerce. He is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law Cairo University (Egypt), legal counselor for the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration and the Egyptian Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. He is also a fellow of the National Center for Technology and dispute Resolution (Massachussetts, USA), and Vice-Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Cairo Branch). Dr. Abdel Wahab is equally a Partner at Shalakany Law Office (Egypt), and Adjunct Professor of Law and Faculty Coordinator for the Indiana University - Indianapolis LL.M. Program in Cairo Egypt.


Chittu Nagarayan
Chittu is a Mediator. She is also pursuing a Masters in Philosophy in the area of Alternative Dispute Resolution to Cyber disputes. She has been actively conducting research in the area of Online Dispute Resolution since 2002. Chittu's other areas of interests are Cyberlaw and Intellectual Property.


Muthu Singaram
Muthu is an Engineering and Management Professional and a Technology Entrepreneur with experience in Manufacturing and Assembly of Electronic Products, Semiconductor Equipment and Process, Electronic Commerce and Information Technology, Bio-Technology, Bio-Informatics and Bio-Metrics. Muthu has been involved in projects in UK, USA, Malaysia, India and Australia. Muthu is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Philosophy in the area of Information systems and technology management.


Madoka Ogino
Madoka Ogino has spent her life more than 15 years in foreign countries like Mexico, Brasil, and the US. She graduated ICU and later continued to study to acquire an MBA from NYU, and an MA in Conflict Resolution from California State University. Her working experience began from the Foreign Exchange Department of Sumitomo Corporation and then she experienced advertising world in McCann-Erickson Hakuhodo. She organized the IFIP International Conference under Dr. Yoshikawa, the former Chancellor or Tokyo University (Current President, Advanced Industrial Science and Technology). She has been acknowledging the importance of "trusted cyber world" and has been working with Internetbar.org to create a trusted online community. She is also a certified mediator in Orange County, California.
